My last year in the post was in 1996. I was an explorer with Ofcs Welch and Harlow. I went through OPOTA in Milan, OH near Sandusky and worked as a Cedar Point Police Officer for around 6 months till I was sidelined with a blood clot. My career as a police officer was put on permanent leave this past November when I was diagnosed with a blood disorder. I have to say that the HHPE was the best time of my young life. I made contact with other posts from the state, and Huber's set up is unique. From what I learned, being an explorer in Huber Heights is as close to the real thing as you can get before you turn 21.
